2007/2008 RHL Champion 'Streetsville Perogies' have been granted a full reinstatement into the RHL after a full review of their new marketplace and business model. The team was allowed a leave of absence the past couple of seasons as they re-located to their new location in downtown Toronto. The team has yet to announce their official name.
The Perogie franchise has the 3rd highest winning percentage among active teams at .5347 and has a overall record of 231 wins, 198 losses and 47 ties. They joined the RHL in Season 2 and stayed through Season 4 in which they became the first franchise to win both the Regular Season and RHL Cup in the same year. They have now become the first team to be reinstated, although perhaps not the last.
